Bab 73: The Next Floor, IV

Elias Ayla POV:

It was late at night and sleep had just absorbed me.

Boom.

A blow-up was heard in the room next to mine

It took me away from the beauty of sleep and I made my way running. Swiftly but cautiously.

The door was opened just a bit so I could peek inside.

That instant, the katana I was holding in my right hand fell to the ground and its clattering sound got everyone's attention.

I pushed open the door slowly.

"Elias!" Luke ran towards me in a full sprint the moment he saw me. 

"Phwu!" Breath left my lungs as I fell to the ground on my back.

"Luke? It's Luke, right? I'm not wrong, right?" I don't even know what I was trying to say.

"It is… it is me, Elias. It's been over nine years…"

"Nine years, huh… I see, that explains the change in your features to look manlier."

"What do you mean manlier, as if I wasn't like that before."

"I mean… you can't blame me, can you."
