My eyes flutter open, something is off in this room. Where am I even? Oh, Tsi. I realize Tsi is moving about in the room. I sit up straight because it's obviously after midnight and she's awake. She pulls a sweater over her head and then she notices me.
"You're awake?," she asks. No, I'm dead.
"Where are you going?," My voice is raspy. I try to clear my throat but I fail so I just rest my back on the wall and wait for the confession.
"To fetch water,"
"It's," I check the time on my phone "one in the morning Tsi, you can't lie like that,"
"I'm not lying. Remember there was no water at the borehole when I went there so I'm going now, there'll be a very long queue, actually," she explains, shoving her feet into her black thick socks. Well, if she's lying there's one way to find out. I get out of the bed. "Sorry, you're not going anywhere," she states flatly.
