Bab 12: 9. The Treasured Tools of The Sage of Six Paths
*______Konoha Village, Conference hall______*
At this time the conference hall was filled with the higher-ups of Konoha.
All of them were sitting there without causing much ruckus this was due to the presence of Danzo who was sitting at the head of the table.
" So I presume no one has any objections with me being the Hokage, of course even if you are not okay with it please bear with it, " Danzo said while glancing at them all with a faint smile.
Although with an amiable smile on his face Danzo did look kind, nobody dared to cross this young man.
He was the successor appointed by the Nidaime and also his disciple thus his strength can't be underestimated.
" Hokage-sama what is your decision regarding Kumo? "
Although the perpetrators were dead they still couldn't swallow this humiliation.
" Don't worry about Kumogakure, because their Future Raikage will come to Konoha to apologise personally. " Danzo said each word slowly letting it sink in.
" What? " exclamations of surprise and disbelief could be heard from all those present here. They were sceptical, they couldn't just take his words for it because it sounded too ridiculous to be true.
Who is the Raikage, he is the leader of a whole military nation, will he just swallow his pride to come personally to the enemy like a plebian to apologize?
Did their Hokage not know the strained relationship between Kumo and Konoha?
Danzo looked at everyone and he could see that they were waiting for him to say that it was a joke, but he would have to disappoint them.
" Of course, it's not a joke, As for the validity of this matter, let's just wait and see" Danzo said with a serious face which prevented any further questions. Thus the meeting continued with them discussing the post-war financial situation and measures to improve the economy and the recent development of neighbouring countries.

Danzo had just returned to the office and before he could even take a breather, his office was opened by four people who he knew too well.
" I know you guys want to discuss something, but before that help me to do this paperwork " Danzo pointed to the mountain of paperwork which has been providing him with a headache, and what better way to do it than make use of his former teammates.
Kagami and the others looked toward the paperwork and gulped but nodded their heads in the end.

Kagami and the others were laying on the sofa tired due to the large amount of paperwork. They couldn't imagine how Danzo could do all of this alone but among them, one person was delighted to do this task and if possible he wanted to do it for his entire life.
But all of them were too tired to notice Hiruzen's strangeness but Danzo didn't fail to notice it, but he didn't pay too much attention as Hiruzen was just a minor character in his eyes. In Naruto, Hiruzen may have been the respected Third Hokage, The God of Shinobi which was just a fake title, because Hiruzen was just too weak in his opinion. He just had a lot of jutsu in his arsenal so the title 'Professor ' suited him the most. But in this life, Hiruzen is only fated to be a background character or a third-rate antagonist, with a fourth-rate potential in danger.
But enough about Hiruzen, Danzo glanced at the tired bodies of his teammates and cast a subtle glance at Koharu's ass. Koharu may become a wrinkled old lady in the future but the woman before him was in her prime. And nobody knew the fact that he and Koharu had some relationship with each other. Nobody knew about it because they were very secretive about it, and both of them were not interested in being in a relationship, it was purely physical. Danzo was not a vegetarian and he didn't mind having friends with benefits relationship with Koharu.
It happened during wartime and everyone was frustrated and tensed and what best way than to indulge in physical pleasure to forget about the cruelty of war. They always did it in a secluded place so the others wouldn't find out as they didn't want to complicate the relationship between their team mates as Kagami and Hiruzen also liked Koharu albeit not that much still they held some affection.
He had to say Koharu had a nice toned body due to heavy training imparted by their sensei.
Danzo was frustrated these days and both mentally and physically.
While Danzo was checking out Koharu, she turned her head back and stared at him for a few seconds and gave him a smirk and wiggled her ass a little bit.
*Cough *
Danzo coughed and averted his eyes to erase his embarrassment, he does not have thick skin as much as the Og Danzo , and getting caught checking out a woman was embarrassing at least for him because in their relationship he was always the dominant one.
{ A.N: for people thinking Koharu is ugly due to her old appearance in Naruto well here's a pic. She's surprisingly good-looking just like Danzo. And yeah I'm thinking about whether just keep her relationship like this or add her to the harem. It depends on you guys' suggestions. ;)}
" Let's talk about the matter you guys came here for " Danzo looked towards the four of them solemnly.
" Danzo are you sure about the matter regarding the Kumogakure, we all know that they are a bunch of rogues and it's simply impossible for them to negotiate peacefully with Konoha. Maybe the war will continue again " Kagami said solemnly. Konoha just lost a Kage level powerhouse and morale was at an all time low and if a war breaks out it will be difficult for them to come out unscathed.
" Don't worry, I met the successor of the Raikage when I was retrieving sensei's body from the battlefield. And The Third Raikage let me leave from there without any struggle and promised to come to visit Konoha to offer an official apology regarding the Gold and Silver brothers, besides he has no other choice than to come because I have the Gold and Silver brother's equipment in my hands " Danzo said in a confident tone with a playful smirk outlining his handsome face.
His words caused everyone present to be shocked.
" The Treasured Tools are in your hands " Hiruzen said in disbelief.
He wasn't some idiot or novice and he knew the exact meaning of those words .
With Danzo in possession of the Treasured Tools it might toss his plans into disarray.
" No wonder you told them that the Third Raikage will come personally. With the tools in our possession they will surely pay us a visit "
Homura said with an understanding expression.
Danzo nodded with a faint smile and turned his attention towards his dear friend Hiruzen .
Hiruzen's subtle changes in expression didn't escape his eyes , even if he is displeased what can he do . Danzo only sees Hiruzen as clown who provides him with entertainment.
' Hiruzen, Hiruzen .... I am the Hokage '*
