Although the Host doesn't know what the surprise was he was able to guess that something stopping the big show must be something super big, so as a professional it was his duty to maintain the mood of everyone.
And although the teachers and the officials were a little bit disappointed but nothing less they could do nothing so they just shook their heads and left.
