Bab 289: Chapter 289: A Glimpse of Her Life

Aella marched towards the building and she noticed Aurelia trying to run away. She took two huge steps and grabbed her sister by her elbow.

Aurelia stared back at her with wide eyes, and her red-rimmed eyes didn't miss Aella's gaze. "What do you know?" she asked, knowing that her sister had waited here for one reason; she was guilty of something.

"W-We can not be seen together." Aurelia whispered before she pulled Aella away from the Palace and headed towards another building at the edge which Aella guessed was the servants' quarters.

"H-How is Bane? Have you seen him?" Aurelia mumbled, and Aella could see she was trembling.

"Yes, I did." her jaw was clenched as she answered. "Did you know Vladter was planning something like this? Why did you not inform me if you did?" 

"I-I had no idea." Aurelia looked down, her voice small. "H-He forced it out of me."
