Bab 28: Signing the contract
The elevator was quite nobody spoke the atmosphere was ambiguous Anna was a bit dazed while Mo Jingzhi was nervous.
He held Anna's hand for the second time but didn't wish to let it go but he knew now she was a bit absent minded but soon she will notice he had to let it go he was nervous that she would notice it earlier.
Somehow his thoughts came true Anna came back to her senses looked down at their interlocked hands then up at Mo Jingzhi. Mo Jingzhi noticed the same and slowly let her hand go .
"Just now thank you and sorry for causing trouble at your company" In the past Anna would never explain anyone about her actions so what if they misunderstood her she didn't care but she subconsciously explained her actions to Mo Jingzhi today she didn't want him to think she had a bad personality .
" You don't need to be polite with me and the one who should be sorry is me I have invited you to work here but got you insulted on the first day I hope you are not angry" He was calm on the outside but really anxious that Anna wouldn't want to work with them anymore and will distance herself from him . Their relationship would return to how it was 2 days ago .
Love is really a magical thing people's personality would change as if they were different people two cold people who spoke less were now expressing their thoughts openly on their worries .
" it's ok since you settled this situation I won't hold it against you anyway this wasn't your fault."she won't blame a person who didn't do anything wrong she was not an unreasonable person anyway.
"Come with me,"he led her out of the elevator and then to his office settled down in his chair asked her to take a seat .
He then called Su Cheng in : "What would you have ?" He asked Anna .
Anna instinctively answered" Lic ohh I will have a cup of coffee " she wanted to ask for a lichi Juice but realised that this was not Lu Jinnian office she was not completely familiar with Mo Jingzhi she couldn't trouble his employee to specifically buy her a lichi Juice after all there would be no packed juices in such a big company.
But Mo Jingzhi immediately knew what she wanted " Do you want a lichi Juice?"
When Su Cheng was about to tell him that there wasn't one Mo Jingzhi gave him a look when Anna wasn't looking at them he immediately understood even if there wasn't one he had to buy it .
Su Cheng immediately chimed in " Yes mam our canteen has packed juices there is Lichi Juice, should I bring it ?"
Since Anna knew she didn't trouble them she agreed.
Su Cheng was bit stunned until he came out of the office how could boss pay attention to a women who was she this was the first time he was meeting her .
Su Cheng came back after some time with a cup of black coffee and a glass of Juice .
Anna accepted it and thanked him .
When he gave the black coffee to Mo Jingzhi he was instructed : " Go and bring in the contract I asked you to print last night "
Su Cheng quickly went back to his cabin and brought back a file.
" Here " Anna was given a contract she started reading it seriously and then came to a conclusion that the whole contract was in her favour she was a bit surprised she thought that a businessman like Mo Jingzhi would make a contract that benifits the most but did otherwise.
Then she came to a conclusion that he did it in account of his friendship with Lu Jinnian she didn't care too much about if she wanted to breach it she had enough money anyway but she still asked him :" You sure you don't want to change any clause. "
"No need", he denied immediately . She then signed the contract immediately.
Su Cheng who was at the side understood immediately that Anna was the new project head she was quite young and promising .
"Come I will introduce you to your team you can get familiar and join from tomorrow" He stood up from his seat he wanted to personally introduce her so that everyone can understand that she was from his side and won't cause trouble .
She stood up and followed him out of the door they entered the elevator reached the AI department .He then led her in .
