Harkin was carefully transported inside to be seen better while Bronwen ordered Sivard’s body to be set off-site to deal with later as well as sending out a border control in case Katriel or “any other vengeful males,” as the bitter she-wolf remarked, showed up.

Cas reassured Bronwen that the chaos was indeed at an end, but she just scowled and said, “You brought way too much f*cking trouble, friend.”

“All is well,” he told her cheerily, looping his arm around Mingan’s waist when she came over fully dressed. “We are no longer friends and I won’t hold you responsible for guarding my family's secret any longer. All I ask is they do not be burned.”
