Cas choked on his sip of wine. He didn’t mind the burn if future sex was a trade to agree to for letting Mingan win this small challenge. “Deal,” he croaked.
Smirking with satisfaction, she finished within seconds. She just wanted to satisfy her pride just as much as she wanted to have fun—innocent or otherwise. With the last swallow of wine, she purred, “I hope what you have in mind will—”
“Stop flirting over there and go to bed!” Helene’s voice suddenly called from outside.
Mingan bit her lip to hide an abashed grin, her face flushing. Cas felt the urge to kiss her and then wondered why he was so d*mn enamored with her. Perhaps after only three days of knowing her and suddenly he couldn’t imagine what he’d be doing without her.
They padded over to the two thick blankets that Helene laid out for them at the far corner of the tent and Cas fell into a quick nap with her wrapped in his arms.
