The thief was staring at Emilia with wide eyes, as though not believing her own ears.

"I…Erm… You… You want me to die?"

"Yes, I'm sorry but I can't let them know that I've found out about their plan so that I can buy time for myself to prepare."

The thief raised her hands, "Wait, wait! You can just let me go right? Just say that I managed to escape and then we'll go our own separate ways! We don't even need to fight or--"

Emilia disappeared from where she was standing and reappeared in front of the thief, her blade already drawn and pressing against the thief's neck.

She held it there for a moment to make sure the thief knew what was happening before stepping back.

"You couldn't even react to that. That wasn't even my fastest speed, you know? My crew knows what I'm capable of, do you think I would really be unable to catch you if you were to try to run? They won't believe that."
