Blood gushed forth from Logan's ruptured heart, eliciting a sharp cry of pain. The immense pressure bearing down on his body acted as a cruel accomplice, accelerating the crimson torrent.
With a resounding crack, Logan swung his sword, shattering the last remaining root that ensnared him.
Allowing a root to impale his chest, he used it as a gruesome makeshift plug, staunching the flow of blood that threatened to spill from his ravaged core. Though wracked with agony, Logan's unwavering gaze remained fixed on the formidable monster before him. His core swirled within, generating an overwhelming surge of energy that surpassed its limits.
Negative thoughts within Logan's mind materialized and transmuted into fuel that fed his pulsating core.
