Bab 65: Concealing the truth

Coming back to his senses, Happy looked down and stared at the locket in his hands. A short wire was twisted and turned to form a small word "ZAR" which was later preserved and made into the locket by the owner.

He smiled at looking at the childish appearance of the words. 'It must be the handiwork of that naughty devil Alex'. However, the next moment the locket got wet as a drop of tear fell straight onto it from above.

He recollected standing in front of the ruins of the laboratory in the Warerior Peaks amongst the pools of blood when his eyes fell on this little masterpiece lying above the ground at one of the corners, painted in red with the blood. A muffled voice of sobbing filled the quiet room 'I am sorry kids, I failed you. Your Happy failed to keep his promise. I came late and could not protect you. But…'
