Alvar stored the giant magic stone that was dropped by the Goliath inside his storage and walked to the 18th floor, called Rivira.
This floor is filled with large forests and lakes. Inside the forests, there are blue crystals of different sizes that reflect the light from above causing the forests to be filled with a pale blue glow.
The high ceilings are filled with beautiful shining crystals of two different colours, the crystals in the center resemble the sun and the blue crystals that surround the center resemble the sky. These crystals' brightness changes depending on the time of day.
Rivira is a town on the 18th floor. This town is fully operated by the adventurers that stay on this floor with no affiliation with the guild.
Alvar did a quick scan of the floor and walked to a forest where he didn't feel any presences. He completely ignored the beauty or the crystals on the floor. He was only paying attention to the glowing stone in his hand.
'It's better for us to talk in a place where no one was.' Alvar continued his walk to the forest feeling the 'pull' of the stone getting stronger notifying him that she was on her way towards him.
'This feels more stressful than the fight against that 'dog'...' Alvar chuckled, he was trying to calm down his anxiety but his mind keeps drifting to the question that's been haunting him for a while now.
The question of 'What if she doesn't remember me?' keeps popping up inside his mind the brighter the stone gets.
Alvar took a deep breath and thought ' It doesn't matter if she remembers me or not. She would still follow the stone either way... I'm just hoping her life here was better than the previous one.'

-------Scene Change------
"What is with you today Cali?" Riveria asked in concern staring at the black and red haired girl in front of her.
"What do you mean?" Cali asked completely ignoring the stares she was receiving from her party members.
Cali was more focused on the stone to be bothered by their stares. Her mind is filled with questions that she wants to ask Alvar.
"Do you know what's wrong with her? Usually, she enjoys expeditions but this time it seems like she is more focused on leaving than anything else." Tiona asked Tione curiously
"I don't know. It looks more like she wants to... go somewhere?." Tione shrugged.
"She somehow reminds me of you," Tiona said causing everyone to look at Tiona, with the exception of Cali who keeps her focus on the stone.
"How so?" Tione asked curiously.
"The way she seems so rushed and kind of look... happy and anxious? It just reminds me of how you are every time you have to go and meet the captain." Tiona said causing everyone to freeze briefly and started staring at Cali.
Their expressions were all filled with shock and disbelief.
"...She never told us anything about that necklace of hers and never allowed me to touch it... and Loki mentioned that she had amnesia when we brought Cali to her... Could it be that she remembered something when the stone inside of the necklace started glowing?" Riveria was interested in Cali's past ever since she saw her unique magic.
It's not every day you see someone using flames the colour of blood... with no chant and magic circle no less.
"Leave her be... You should remember how she was when we found her outside Orario and whatever happened to her that caused her to lose her memories must have been quite the trauma... So if that stone of hers helped her remember someone that makes her act like this is a good thing. So you should not let your scholar side ruin it for her. You can ask her when we get back to the Manor or wait for her to tell us," Gareth, a dwarf, said to Riveria
Riveria is a serious, calm and collected elf but it tends to drop a bit due to her interest in magic.
"I know. It is the first time I have seen her this happy ever since she joined our Familia. I am not planning on ruining it just because of my curiosity and interest." Riveria let out a small smile and shook her head lightly.
The Loki Familia made their way to Rivira and started setting up their tents to rest for a bit.
"You all can walk around or rest for a bit before we exit the dungeon... where is Cali?" Finn after a short pause noticed that Cali was missing.

---------------Scene Change--------------
After entering the 18th floor, Cali instantly left the group and started running in the direction the stone was pulling.
Her mind was starting to get cluttered with small pieces of memories... They were memories of her past... most of them filled with pain and regret.
She remembered that she was born in a village of mages who practice dark magic with the intent of using it for good. She remembered how kind they were and how her parents would teach her how to control her emotions... but she remembered that she failed to do so.
Images of them being hung on crosses filled her mind briefly but they quickly left when she remembered a new memory.
Someone that helped set her free and gave her a sense of safety... even if it was for a brief time it meant a lot to her... She can finally meet him again.
The person that gave her a second chance. The one that gave her hope and helped her escape her pain.
There were still a few missing pieces in her mind, but that didn't bother her at all. The only thing she was focussing on was the stone.
"We can finally meet again... Alvar," Cali let out a genuine smile with a few tears slowly running down her cheeks. Her mind was still a bit of a mess, but it started getting clearer the closer she came to Alvar.
Cali entered a forest and ran past a couple of trees only to suddenly stop in her tracks and froze on the spot. In front of her was a masked figure.
The figure lowered his hood showing his white hair and took off his mask. His golden eyes lit up with happiness but Cali only focused on the scar on his left eye.
She suddenly felt a sense of guilt rushing over her.
"Alvar..."

Hope everyone enjoys this one since it took a while to make it lol.
I do have a storyline planned out with this ff but I realized that I overestimated my ability to write down what I have planned lol. But I'll try my best to make this book as enjoyable as possible for you readers and myself.
Any problems you have do please tell me! Any criticism and ideas/advice is welcome because I am still learning.
I can't learn if no one tells me what I am doing wrong lol.
If you want to, do stone me!
peace!
Cali shook her head and walked towards Alvar and hugged him.
"...You finally came..." She said softly.
"Sorry for taking so long..." Alvar said with a sad smile on his face and hugged her back.
"Certain problems kept me busy... but that doesn't matter anymore. Let's sit over there by that tree and catch up with each other." Alvar said.
Cali nodded, followed him towards a tree, and sat next to him. The feeling of guilt was still lingering inside of her mind... she couldn't remember how he got that scar nor why she felt so guilty, but she knows for certain that she had something to do with it.
'Did I cause it?' The question popped up in her mind briefly.
"You don't have to worry about the scar... it happened a long time ago so you shouldn't stress yourself over it. The past is the past after all," Alvar chuckled, he noticed her guilty expression and felt her stare at his scar. So he tried to calm her down.
'I guess she doesn't have all of her memories back yet...' Alvar sighed...
'I think it's better for her mental health if she doesn't remember everything..., especially that bastard,'
"What can you remember?" He asked to make sure.
"I remember some of my childhood, Some small parts where I was inside a... castle... or a temple? Something like that... and after that, I only remember you and your friends." Cali said with a smile on her face.
"How are they doing? Has Xylia gotten better?" Cali asked a bit worried.
"Xylia is doing a lot better than the last time you saw her... as for the rest... they passed away I'm afraid..." Alvar sighed
"...Is that so? Sorry for asking..." Cali said in an apologetic tone.
"You don't have to worry about it. They had a happy life before they passed away, leaving behind children and grandkids." Alvar chuckled remembering his old friends.
Cali smiled seeing Alvar's nostalgic expression.
"Glad to hear that," She said and leaned on his shoulder.
"How was your life in this new world so far? Hope it wasn't too hard on you," Alvar asked, and pulled her in closer.
"It wasn't too bad in all honesty. Although the starting was a bit rough." Cali chuckled while thinking of how she met the Loki Familia.
This caused Alvar to raise an eyebrow.
"I woke up in a forest near Orario while only remembering the promise you made and my name. I was very confused and started testing out my magic... which caused a 'small' ruckus..." Cali lowered her voice while saying the last part.
"You burned down the forest... didn't you?" Alvar deadpanned when he noticed she was looking away from his gaze.
"Knowing you, I shouldn't be surprised..." He chuckled seeing her angry expression.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Cali yelled and punched Alvar in the stomach.
"Ow!" Cali yelled feeling her hand starting to pain, making Alvar laugh.
"I forgot about your so-called 'armour'," Cali said in a low tone.
"So what happened after you burned down-" Alvar was interrupted by a fake cough.
"I didn't burn down the ENTIRE forest, but that's not important... The Loki Familia noticed the smoke and rushed outside to see what happened. That's where I met the Sword Princess, Ais Wallenstein. She usually rushes in head first so the other members were still on their way." Cali started telling her story ignoring Alvar's grin.
"I was still very confused at the time so I... might have thought she wanted to attack me... So I, of course, ignored anything Ais said and attacked her." She said with a wry smile.
"After about five or so minutes the other members also showed up and joined in. They were pretty shocked seeing me using my brimstone flames so casually. I think Riveria, also known as 'mom', thought I was cursed because of the blood red flames at the time." Cali was about to continue when Alvar asked with interest.
"What do you mean by 'mom'?"
"...Well she is usually very strict but she also cares for everyone so she gained the nickname 'Mom' in our Familia." She chuckled.
"Anyway, after an hour or so of fighting I passed out because of exhaustion. The flames dispersed when I passed out. When I finally woke up I was in their Manor and met my perverted goddess, Loki."
"Perverted goddess? and why does Loki sound like a male name?" Alvar asked which made Cali laugh.
"I asked Loki as well which earned me a smack on the head. As for the perverted part... don't worry about it." She chuckled.
"I'm glad you didn't change much Alvar... although you don't really act like a king."
Alvar stayed quiet for a second before saying.
"I wasn't made to be a king... but I had to be one otherwise our world wouldn't have changed at all... you can kill the evil, but having no leader only leads more people to go down the wrong path..."
"I'm not sure If I changed or not in these past few years, but glad you think I'm the same." Alvar smiled.
"So how is it with the Loki Familia so far?" Alvar changed the subject.
'...What happened after I was gone...? or is it something I can't remember?' Cali thought but shook her head.
"They are quite the kind bunch when you get to know them... and they have been treating me well ever since they allowed me to join their familia..."She said warmly, ignoring her previous thoughts.
"Glad you were safe," Alvar said
"Of course, So how was your 'stay' here so far?" Cali asked wondering what he has been up to.
"Well... I didn't do much while I waited for you to come back from your dungeon expedition. I am currently staying at the Hostess of Fertility and bought a workshop..." Alvar started explaining the few things he's been up to.
.

.
The 'Room of prayers'... This is an open room under the guild. Inside this room is a giant throne where the first god that descended stays.
This is the god that started the guild and also the same god that has been keeping the monsters inside the dungeon at bay.
His name is Ouranos, he has the appearance of an old man with white hair and blue eyes, he usually wears a white robe with a black hooded cloak.
"Did you find anything about what happened in the dungeon, Fels?" He asked calmly inside the open room.
Suddenly a figure covered in a black robe appeared inside the room.
