Bab 19: Chapter 19: The Truth

Adeline’s POV

This morning I feel different. My wolf is more active than she has been in a while. She has been smiling, panting, whining, and hyperactive since the moment the Moon Goddess chose me as Zale’s mate. I don’t know why she has been acting like this when she has never reacted to Zale, but now she won’t settle down, and it’s been driving me insane all night, which is why I’m awake earlier than usual.

I leave my bedroom and head downstairs to the kitchen. I have gotten so used to helping the maids cook breakfast every morning that it’s a habit now. I have grown to enjoy their company and how hard they work for the Seoh family. I admire their determination and resilience.

When I walk into the kitchen, I expect to see the three maids I spend every morning with. What I wasn’t expecting to see was Dianne standing in the kitchen at the island preparing breakfast.
