TAG'ARKH POV
I pushed open the door to the room, ignoring the guards who stood there with confusion on their faces. Their hesitation was palpable, but none dared question me. Good. I was not in the mood for their sycophantic questions or unwarranted concern.
The heavy oak doors groaned under the force of my shove, slamming against the marble walls with a resonant crack. The sound echoed in the chamber, drawing every eye in the room to me. Aquafina and Lurina who stared at me with resigned expressions on their faces.
"Ah," Lurina ever-poised, said with a calm that only fueled my ire. She sat in her gilded chair, legs crossed, her silver hair spilling like moonlight down her back. "Here she comes, our tempest. What is it this time, dear Tag'arkh?"
"This time?" I hissed, stepping further into the room, my boots clicking sharply against the polished floor. "This time, you ask, as if my anger is unjustified? What the hell did you do to the twins?"
