The undead?

The words hung in the air, chilling and unnatural. I could feel a shiver run down my spine as I tried to process what he had just said. The undead? The very idea seemed impossible, something out of a nightmare rather than reality. But the fear in Silas's eyes told me he believed every word he was saying.

Ivan remained silent beside me, his gaze never leaving Silas. I could see the wheels turning in his mind, trying to make sense of the situation. I knew he was considering the implications, the potential threat to our kingdom if what Silas was saying was true.

"How did you encounter these beings?" Ivan finally asked, his voice calm and measured, but there was an edge to it, a demand for the truth.
