Bab 489: ONLY A MATTER OF TIME

Everyone all gathered in the drawing room the next morning, I could feel the weight of the moment pressing down on me. Our friends already heard the news of what happened to Caeden last night and we decided to bring Madea so she will tell us more about what happened to him.

Madea stood in the center, not sure how to begin, giving us all a moment to collect our thoughts. I took a deep breath, feeling my husband's hand holding mine, his arm wrapped protectively around me.

The tension in the room was palpable, emanating in waves that seemed to swirl around us. Madea cleared her throat before she spoke.

"The young prince has been marked." Madea announced.

No one said anything because we all knew that. Ivan and I already filled them in yesterday and they were still shocked and felt confused but we couldn't offer them any more explanation because we were equally confused.
