Bab 475: MIXTURE OF LAUGHTER AND TEARS

ARIANNE POV

I woke up suddenly, my heart racing as I sat up with a sharp intake of breath. The room was dark, the shadows playing tricks on my eyes. And then, I saw him, Ivan, my real husband, sitting beside me with a wry smile on his face.

I frowned, unsure if this was real or just another one of my mother's tricks. She had always been one for elaborate surprises and pranks. I still couldn't believe she had done that! Took my present fears and used it against me at the moment. I couldn't stop the shudder that raced through my body at seeing Azar, I felt afraid because I believed he was going to take me back, that their was no escaping him.

But it was all just some fucking sick entertainment with Nyana and she wonders why I prefer my human version of a mom over her? Fucking bitch!
