Bab 380: HUMILATION

ARIANNE POV 

"Have you gotten everything you need?" Ivan asked me for the twentieth time that evening.

I smiled wryly at him. Going to the cold mountains is more like being banished. It's like you are taking a break from your royal duties. You are no longer of royal status. You are just the same as any other average person. Going to the cold mountains is also some sort of punishment, you don't take anything because you wouldn't need it. Throughout your stay, you are dressed in nothing except linen clothes, stay in the cold room without blankets, and sleep on a bamboo bed. Food is nothing but vegetables and just water, a meal per day, and there is no such thing as a warm bath.

It's winter now which means it's going to be even more harsh right in this season. The bracelets on my wrists weren't making me as strong as I used to be before. It was one of the many reasons why my husband and my friends were worried about me going to such a place.
