Sloth. 

When Kyros said he had somehow figured out where our next soul object was and said it was in the Sloth's Kingdom, I had expected to see creatures who acted as slowly as the slowest thing alive. 

I was wrong. 

The sloths so far looked largely human, they hardly had any giants here and they looked like jolly happy people.

Rowan would not talk to me except when needed, so Kyros had been the one filling me in on any questions I had, and giving answers to the ones I didn't know I had. 

He said the sloths hated hard work and when the Wrath King had suggested they take human females after something mysterious had been killing their females, the Sloth had been part of the first breed to agree and when the rumours of a war between the Pride and the Wrath had spread, the Sloths had been the first to hide.
