Bab 122: Jealous

"Shit!" cursed the young man as he nudged his round eye glass back.

Steve had been running for who knows how long, and the small crow was persistent of playing with the prey. The predator should have grown tired already but it was the opposite for the small crow. The latter, same with its siblings, decided to play together with the prey since their mother had not made a call yet.

Although, it was a bit suspicious they heard not a single thing from their mother for half an hour. They were confident that there was nothing happened to their mother, after all. The moment they landed and scrutinized every people who had the potential to threaten them, they found no one. What about an existence that could kill their mother then? No one, even if the humans banded together.
