Ever since his disappearance, which happened thousands of years ago, the people of the Shadow Realm had dispersed into different sub-kingdoms with Sil being the overall seer. Now things were about to change. The Shadow King's heir was chosen but surprisingly, it wasn't someone everyone else expected.

"How do you know this, Sil?" Balkium was still in doubt, his eyes focusing on Dezhong, then Sil, then Dezhong again. "And I expected the Shadow King to have chosen his own grandson. I heard rumors of his existence."
