Bab 8: Changes in the winds
It's been 6 months since Koutaro started his training. In this time the most notable change was his physique.Though he was still quite skinny, he didn't look malnourished like before.On the contrary there were visible muscles on his body.
Even hitomi -san mentioned the other day " wow! Koutaro kun, you are becoming so handsome nowadays."
An important thing Koutaro noticed is one doesn't need nutritious food for gaining results in the training. " Well, it's understandable. Even Naruto, the protagonist, only ate cup ramen as food all his life. And look at the monster he became in the future."
Yup! It's all broken.
But even after so much training, he noted that there was no change in his chakra volume.
He tried all methods he could but the size of the energy ball was the same as the first time he saw it..
He was worried that if he ever faces an enemy, he will only have his self made martial art technique to fight them.( He doesn't know any taijutsu techniques)

While Koutaro was busy training, the air around the elemental nations was turning heavy. After a long break, all the shinobi villages were ready to face each other at their full power.
Iwagakure was planning for its invasion in the Land of fire. Iwa always had the motives of obtaining the lands of the fire nation for itself.
The vast fertile fields, the geographical location,made the land of fire, the most prosperous in the elemental nations.
On the other hand Iwa was surrounded by nothing but rocks. Their terrain was not suitable for agricultural uses at all. This made the people of Iwa hate konoha, which was located in the land of fire, to the core.
They have tried several small invasions in the past years but all of them ended up in failure.
So this time they had made thorough preparations and solid planning for taking over the lands of the fire nation.
Several groups of iwa shinobis were deployed in the land of grass and land of rice fields. This two nations didn't have their own shinobi village. So infiltrating these countries was not very difficult for Iwa ninjas.
They were tasked to take control over the regions bordering the land of fire. So that they can surround it. And may use them as footholds for attacking konoha.
A total of 105 shinobis were deployed. Among them were 75 genins, 25 chunnis and finally 5 jonins leading them.
They were divided into group of 15 genins , 2 chunnins and 1 jonin as the leader of the group.
In total 5 groups. They estimated that this number should be sufficient for completing the task given to them.
Among these groups, one group was tasked to clear out the outskirts villages and kill all the civilians at the southern part of the land of rice.
Ninjas can be incredibly bloodthirsty, especially the ninjas of Iwagakure. Normally they have to abide by the law and keep themselves in control. But during situations like war, their bindings are released and they become free to do as they like.
Released from their shackles the Iwa ninjas are growing restless. The only thing they want is slaughter.
The bloodthirsty gazes of these Iwa ninjas were on the seemingly peaceful outskirts villages. The merciless expression revealed on their faces clearly tells about the massacre they are about to commence.
