Bab 83: Dealing with the King

"They sent a kid?"

The King looked Ale up and down with a frown on his face and made that snide remark the moment he entered the tent.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, King Charles."

Ale smiled as he greeted back. He had dealt with much worse in the future for something small like this to get to him.

But that wasn't the case for the people who entered the tent following Ale, meaning Xion and Rudy. Their expression turned cold instantly the moment King Charles made that insulting remark.

Ale was initially planning on bringing in a few more people, but changed his mind last moment and decided that it was better to stick to the bare minimum.

Ale thought that it'd be better to take the people that were mature/cunning/sly or great at controlling their expressions. And his choices were obvious.
