Bab 66: Ale's Intentions

"But... if you found him in a cell all by himself, how did you know he was protecting the other kids?"

Xion asked, after hearing Ale's story so far. From what he could tell, the kid was in a condition where it wasn't even sure if he'd made it out alive or not. So how could someone like that protect the other kids?

"Ah.. I heard it from the other kids."

"The other kids..?"

"Mhm.. I visited them often, checking on their recovery and stuff. And one day, one of those kids approached me and asked me about Paul."

"Aha.."

"Yep. I was curious how they knew each other, and then I heard the whole story."

"What did he do?"

"He tried to run away, with all the kids. From the very beginning, since he was older than most of them, he was always looking out for them."

"They must've been captured and captivated for a long time."

"Of course. They kidnap small children and then groom them according to the buyer's preference."
