Bab 45: An Unlikely Reunion

"Please don't mind the mess."

The one in charge of Base 1, another son of a Duke, Midaz, offered Ale a seat as he entered the tent.

"What happened?"

Ale couldn't help but ask seeing the devastated state of the tent. Although everything looked fine on the outside, the inside was a total chaos.

"An assassination attempt.. well, a failed one."

"Whoa.. on you? Are you okay?"

The young master in front of him was someone he already knew from his memories. And although they weren't close in the future, he was someone that Ale didn't have a bad impression on. He was an 'okay' noble.

'He looks so young.'

Midaz also looked way younger compared to everyone at the base. Even the other nobles Ale met on his way here all looked older than him. The soldiers were far older as well.

"I'm alright. I guess they underestimated me because of my age. Heh."
