Who was the greatest enemy of a cultivator? Some said it was time, some said it was demon beasts, some said it was ghost cultivators, some said it was other cultivators, and some said it was the cultivators themselves.

However, all cultivators knew that their greatest enemy was loneliness! To cultivators, time was not the most terrifying thing. Unless one's lifespan was approaching its end, no one would believe that time was one's greatest enemy.

Demonic beasts were even less terrifying. In the true spirit world, cultivators were the dominant ones, not demonic beasts. Ghost cultivators were also cultivators, so the true enemy of cultivators was actually only one, and that was loneliness.
