Bab 38: The Engagement Ring

"Lady Rosina, a pleasure to have you here," Draco greeted when he saw Rosina entering the dining room.

"Good morning, Your highness," Rosina curtsied and sat on the opposite end of the table. The servants immediately set her plate and food to eat.

Draco and Rosina looked at one another and kept eye contact the entire time without saying a single word.

After the servants were done, Rosina started eating peacefully, but she could feel Draco's stare digging into her skin.

"Did you have a good night's sleep, Your highness?" Rosina asked with a smile and took a bite of the sausage while looking directly at Draco.

"I had a hard time sleeping, Lady," Draco answered and drank his coffee while maintaining eye contact.

"What caused your hardship? You seemed busy with work in the palace," Rosina stated and put the sausage near her mouth, but she didn't take a bite, rather, she licked it with mustard sauce on top.
