Fountain that spewed water in colours of gold—the cream-hued structure with hundreds of windows that glistened the light Sun.
Four suitcases rolled out the massive doors and onto the path where a carriage awaited. "You are certain you would not like security?" Feyan followed behind.
"It'll be fine. Asobi'll disguise us before we leave the estate," Hotaru reassured once more.
"I'm sure you'll get through," Daiyu stepped out the door with both hands behind her back.
"I will make them extra disguise-y!"
"Hey Soaps, catch," Daiyu tossed a small box of greenish-black.
"Wo-ah!" Asobi caught it in the hand she held her wand. She examined the little ribbon.
"Happy Belated Birthday," the princess wished.
Asobi gasped, "Can I open it!?" Daiyu gave a nod. She pulled open the ribbon and the little lid. "Ooo…" The black gems twinkled as she took the pair of clip-on earrings out.
"Go on," Daiyu prompted.
'Dear Jotou Howllett,
_
I remember the day we first met and I gleaned a few things about you. For one, your birthday. Happy Birthday Jotou, from me, my wife and Analine.
I guess this is my way of saying Happy Birthday to Ana as well, not to bring down your mood on a special occassion or anything. By the time I send this letter, it should accurately arrive on your birthday, unless there are complications.
Regardless, I've heard so many things about you since you left Kria—so many accomplishments. They're no small feats; aiding in removing Trailon from the war? All of Kria celebrated that day. Still, heavy is the head and all. I understand that sentiment and if you ever need a friend, you can always write to me. In fact, you should revisit Kria briefly.
Though I understand your journey may take you elsewhere. In lieu of it, your friends from the Lexokodac have taken the initiative to lead the Krian Adventurers Guild. Reenius has still not returned and I'm still in her position. The Ordinate is shaping up to be better than before; new talent is arriving constantly, perhaps due to my less strict approach of accepting. Kria is moving like an oiled up clock, filled with hope and new beginnings. The scent of the sea is still fresh and the autumn is at its peak. It's all in part, thanks to you.
Permission to say this: I am quite proud of what you've done; as should you. Good luck on your travels and your goals. Kria will always welcome you.'
