Bab 10: Chapter 7
Alex's POV
I wanted to tell Katie about my fiancé but that business trip with the Italian mafia mob wanted a truce.
Katie doesn't know about the mafia because I keep her well hidden from the outside world, and that's why she hasn't been seeing me around anymore, because these businesses are taking me all over the place.
And Five more months from now I'll be getting married and Katie will be crowned the mafia princess and all the other mafia are not allowed to interfere with her.
Taking the plane to Italy , I looked at my phone, checked through my mails, answered those I could answer and sent the rest to my secretary. Ha this is getting tiring . 2 hours later the plane had landed, and i was already on my way to my hotel room, Well the was draining.
Pumping myself down on my bed, I can finally get some sleep before the big meeting. Shutting my eyes went off to my unrealistic world of happiness.
*The distant memory*
" Mama, Father, you can't allow them to know about kate or she will be targeted please, don't let them know about her well she met's 18 she can come into the mafia world, just don't let know about her, all take over and be the next heir to the throne so please mama ,father." I said frantically while looking over to my baby sister.
" Fine if that's what you wish, we will not let them know, but know this, she will be your responsibility when we are not around, you will have to protect her with your life, and care for her like no other. She is a strong little girl and we wouldn't be there for her when she needs us. So do us a favor baby be your sister, older brother, father and mother while we're not here ok hunny ?"
Mother said sadly, tearing up slightly. Whipping my mama cheeks ,father looked down at me, with sadness in his eyes. Taking mother into the car to leave for the plane to Brazil, they kiss and bid us goodbye.
Next day*
Bang ! bang! Was the sound of our front door knocking at 5am?
Kate had not too long fallen asleep and dad's best friend Steve was staying here looking after me and my sister while they were away. ' Steve , is everything alright? I saw the police van driving off our runway." Steve was a very funny guy who hardly had a sad , angry or serious face but somehow what the police told him made him show all those emotions.
" Ace "aka Alex'", your mother and father died last night while traveling to Brazil on the plane. Am sorry for your lost young master."
He said sadly with tears in his eyes while bowing down to me. That meant I was no longer the mafia prince, I was the king , and I would have to take over. And protect my sister." Breathing heavily i choose to smile i hugged steve and i said " steve we need to relocate to another country, but keeping this house for the undercover business and the other just for me and kate and after her fifth birthday well kept a ceremony for her birthday and a while after for our parents death anniversary, you make sure no one knows about her existence until am ready to tell them ok?" I said seriously.
Moving, transforming and relocating, everything flashes before my eyes. Kate grew up to be a very intelligent lady, with very weird traits. I fought gangs , made truce with different mafia so we became 10 times more powerful than my father was.
Smiling at myself, it was all for her, and for our future family members. Then I met Aloe Ax, the most annoying but kind hearted person I met. He is one of the mafia sons who I am one of my partners, from the Russian mafia.
At first we almost killed each other because he was being a complete brat but after getting to know him it was just different and strangely romantic.
Now we're getting married.
I remember sitting in the field when he came panicking because he thought I didn't love him. He can be such an idiot at times.
That's when I decided to settle down with him. Now am just worried on how my sister will react because she doesn't know her soon to be brother in law, neither that her older brother is gay.
It was so frustrating keeping this away from her because we were technically best friends.
Should I tell her not? Well we will just have to wait and see.
