Bab 345: Jemeiah, love is love

Jemeiah relished the fruits, but his attention shifted as he heard approaching footsteps. Turning towards the door, he quickly stood up, bowing respectfully to welcome Édouard. The moment their eyes met, Édouard warmly embraced Jemeiah, proud of his growth.

"You have grown up. I heard from Charles," Édouard said and pulled away.

Humbly, Jemeiah replied, "I hope I can live up to your expectations."

"You won't get success in everything, but that doesn't mean you are doing bad. That's a part of learning too. You'll learn from failure too," Édouard advised him.

Jemeiah felt motivated and thanked him for his encouraging words. "How was Prince Édouard's journey?" he inquired.

"It went well," Édouard replied and forwarded a fountain pen to him. "It is for you. You will need this to sign the important documents. This is given to me by my respected teacher when I departed from the academy," Édouard replied and gestured for Jemeiah to take that.
