"I see," Édouard said and asked him what kind of odd behavior Philip showed.

"Your Grace, that would be inappropriate for me to speak about. It is something between the two brothers, so His Grace does not need to know about it," Charles asserted.

"I would like to know, Charles," Édouard stated. "Damien's life depends on the truth I have to unveil. My father's reputation is involved with it," he said and asked the servants to go out of the drawing room. Now, only Édouard and Charles were present in the room.
