Bab 236: Died five years ago [Bonus chapter]

In the evening, Damien got a summon from the King and it left him puzzled. He left Igor to see the King. He bowed to the King before settling on the sofa chair.

Christian glanced at Igor and asked him to leave. After the doors closed, Christian started speaking to Damien, "I know you hate me because I punished your father and mother. I banished you all for twenty-four years from the Kingdom. I also know you are here for revenge."

Damien gulped to hear Christian but did not let his nervousness on his face.

"Why does His Majesty I am here for revenge?" Damien tried to handle the conclusions tactfully that Christian made against him.

"Damien, I have sources to find out all such matters," Christian said. He wanted to intimidate Damien so that he would say the truth and admit before him why he returned.

"I am afraid, but His Majesty got the wrong information from his informants," Damien stated. He kept his tone confident so that Christian would not leave in any suspicion.
