Niamh closed the file in his hand when he heard Matilda speak to him. "Why did Brother send a private message to Prince Édouard?" She looked infuriated and annoyed.

Niamh raised his head to look at her. "You surely find out everything," he stated.

"Of course, Brother," Matilda said and pulled out the chair for her. She sat on it and clasped her hands together. "What did Brother write in the private message?" She asked.

"Why do you care? You already have messed up the situation between the three kingdoms," Niamh said and his brows furrowed.

"Why is Brother blaming me? It was Andrew who started this. He ridiculed me. Also, my marriage was always destined to happen with Prince Édouard," Matilda stated.

"Édouard hates you. You know this well," Niamh asserted.

"He doesn't hate me," Matilda pronounced.
