"How did she find out we have arrived in Wexnon?" Édouard asked Charles.

"I have no idea, Your Grace. Perhaps Consort Ariane had guessed," Charles asserted.

Édouard leaned back on the leather chair and clasped his fingers. "Someone must have told her that we are arriving today," he stated with a suspicious gaze.

"Consort Ariane will complain about today's incident to His Majesty. It can create troubles for His Grace," Charles said with a worried look.

"I am ready to fight with Father this time," Édouard said and told Charles to find out how Ariane found out about their arrival. Charles bowed and asked Édouard if he should send the tea for him.

"I do not want the tea. I will work for some time. I have neglected the work for many days," Édouard stated and picked up the document. He untied the silk knot around the rolled document and looked at Charles.

"Do you have something more to say, Charles?" Édouard asked.
