After Édouard's anger vanished and sent Kenric out, he returned to the bedchamber where Charlotte was present.

"Why did you go this far?" Charlotte questioned him. Her arms were crossed across her chest.

"I was scared," Édouard replied.

"We are at the Aezha Palace. You cannot get angry with Princess Aurora and her friends. You should have asked me first," Charlotte asserted.

"It won't happen the next time," Édouard assured her.

"Princess Aurora must be crying. Should you not apologize to her once?" Charlotte suggested to him.

"You want me to apologize to her?" Édouard wasn't ready for it. Somewhere, he had this strange feeling that Aurora didn't like Charlotte. He should not be thinking this way, but the Aurora he knew would never have let anyone insult Charlotte. The present Aurora was different for him.
