Bab 318: The Truth Masked As Dreams

The air inside the hotel room turned denser. Sitting on the bed, Hisaki and Heisuke were staring at each other. The last of her words dissipated in the air.

Feeling more tensed by how erratic she sounded, Hisaki quickly pulled her eyes away from Heisuke, flustering.

"...forget it. I don't make any sense."

She had talked to him about disliking Okawa Hitomi¹ without giving out any concrete reasons before. Now, she predicted someone would kill the others just like that.

Hisaki grew more upset with herself. Turning around, she moved to get off of the bed. Her messy bangs obscured the dark shadows swirling in her reddened eyes.

"...!"

Hisaki was forced to stop. Heisuke pulled her waist from behind. Her back collided with his sturdy chest. She was trapped in his arms.

"So, what if you talk nonsense? Can't you speak about such things with me? Your fiance?"
