The receptionist quickly transferred the call to Elder Wu's assistant.

"Hello, this is Elder Wu's assistant speaking. How may I assist you?" came a polite voice over the line.

Gu Jin wasted no time. "Hello, this is Su Jin. I need to speak with Elder Wu urgently regarding a matter of great importance."

The assistant seemed to take note of the urgency in Gu Jin's voice. "I'll see if he's available. Please hold for a moment."

Gu Jin waited anxiously, tapping her foot as seconds ticked by. Finally, the assistant returned to the line.

"I'm sorry, but Elder Wu is currently unavailable. However, if it's urgent, you can leave a message with me, and I'll make sure he receives it as soon as possible."

Gu Jin frowned and asked,

"What about Elder Fan and Elder Xiang?"

"Ma'am they are inside too." The assistant replied.

"Can you ask them to hurry up a bit?" Gu Jin asked.
