Bab 207: Saviors

...Before he could realize it, Alex was already on his way towards the hospital Jake was in. He was drowned in thoughts and paid no attention to the road.

Jake, the wrecked bully, was already looking too miserable, as if the last week he had been the worst in his life. What happened between him, Alex and Anna wouldn't make it reach to that point no matter what.

But the appearance of Tony, the basketball team leader, made the situation a bit more understandable.

"He's here"

After walking a couple more minutes, Alex stood before a public hospital building that was a bit on the outskirts of the city, nothing too big, just a regular hospital, but he could sense Jake within one of its rooms!

'You wouldn't go in the usual way, right?'

Liza commented with a smile, before Alex stepped foot into the building. Of course, he wasn't visiting the normal way, instead he confidently walked into the busy hospital without getting questioned by the security nor the receptionist desk.

'You almost mastered the art of invisibility, hehe I'm proud of you~'

Using his magic, Alex had already learned to use invisibility thanks to the succubus' lessons in the shower. Though he wasn't able to maintain it for too long, approximately 20 minutes.

However, that was more than enough to get the needed information without leaving a trace. Using his powers, Alex walked through the corridors, and to the room he sensed the former bully in.

Surprisingly, the room's door wasn't completely closed, as if someone had just went in. Alex was able to slide inside, just to see a kind of unexpected sight.

To be exact, a middle-aged woman, extremely pale and ill, her arms full of attached tubes and wires.

'Oh, is that his mother? She doesn't look at her best conditions on her deathbed.'

As Liza remarked on the tragic sight before them, Alex also nodded in agreement before he switched his eyes down to the young man laying his head asleep on the bed.

Just as expected, he was more beaten than before and had more injuries. However his heartbeat was much calmer than before. He was literally a mad dog a while ago.

But as time passes inside the hospital room, something was starting to feel strange...

'Ahhh... Wait.. something feels off. I can sense demonic curse energy in his mom... Her heart has a curse!'

Liza's statement surprised Alex. His senses weren't strong enough to sense devilish curses, but after paying attention to the mother laying unconsciously, he could also feel something unusual inside her body.

'Who could curse her? And why? But more importantly, do you know how to remove a curse? Can you do it?'

A bunch of questions were falling from Alex as he was startled Jake's mom was even targeted with such a terrifying thing. Luckily, there was Liza to answer his questions.

'I have no idea, but yes, it's not impossible to break such a curse. It's not powerful, but for a human, it's a slow death, but yeahh heheee~'

Fortunately, Liza had some good news with giggles, and that made Alex feel a bit relieved, although he still felt quite confused of Liza's sudden happiness and naughtiness spike, but she quickly revealed her intentions.

'Hmmm! Sooo are you planning on fucking your bully's mom as a revenge? ~ my my you're getting quite daring~ Then, I'm willing to put some efforts for that, no need to explain~'

As the usual, Liza was still a lewd shameless succubus, and her vulgar thoughts were nowhere to be gone. Even after she restored her physical form, though, still hiding inside his body.

'No way, he wasn't my bully to begin with, and I'm not planning on revenge on random dudes. He's already fucked up enough'

Alex just responded with denial as expected, and he wasn't entirely wrong. Jake never bullied him, and their meeting happened just because of Anna. Plus, he was already beaten to a pulp and almost lost his mind.

'Ah ah! I understand, I understand. Of course, you wouldn't find her beautiful in this state now, but I can assure she's a very charming woman, I can tell~ so need to hold back~''

Alex didn't want to argue anymore and just shook his head. He walked near the bed slowly. With each step, the devilish aura was getting stronger.

However, he slowly stretched his hand and reached towards the woman's breast. He gently placed it on her heart, rather groped it, and Liza was doing the 'behind the scene' while giggling.

A faint dark pinkish light started emitting from his fingers, slowly penetrating into her heart, hoping that would remove the curse who was unmistakably put by someone on purpose.

'So the basketball meathead is the primary suspect of this horrible act?'

After what they witnessed this morning, Alex and Liza couldn't think of any other suspect other than Tony the basketball team leader, who looked righteous and noble on the outside, but evil on the inside.

'Yes, but it could be not him. We are not sure. A lot of demons can place curses on humans, although it's difficult for low tier demons. That means we are dealing with a possible big shot.'

Liza said with a concerned tone. Recently, Alex was coming across lots of supernatural things. Which was just a normal thing, as he was no longer normal either.

But a friend is a friend, and a foe is a foe. Not everyone is on the same side of the boat.

'Well, let's just be cautious and... I'm done! Look, you can see her beauty slowly coming back and her pale skin is getting redder. You can change your mind~'

After about ten minutes of working, Liza was able to eat the curse that was making this beautiful mommy sick. Even her short black hair was getting healthier!

'I'm not changing my mind'

Alex pulled back his hand while looking at her before he switched his gaze towards the young man sleeping soundly. Jake was full of scars and his face was swollen and beaten up real good. Even the succubus felt pitiful for him.

'I would be disgusted to heal this asshole, but I can offer to help treat his serious injuries, should I?'

Liza wasn't showing much interest in other humans, aside from those within Alex's circle, but for the sake of her boy Alex's remaining humanity, she offered some healing.

'Well, if you can. It's won't be a very good sight for his mom when she wakes up, finding her son messed up like this.'

Definitely, it would be a horrifying sight for his mom if she sees him like this.

'Ahhh! How stupid I am. Of course, you wouldn't want this mommy to get worried about her stupid son. You're such a caring daddy! Definitely, I'm healing him right away.'

Liza quickly switched up to her cheeky succubus mode, and joyfully started healing Jake's serious scars and injuries as if they never existed.

She was quickly done.

'This should be enough. It's time to head out. I'm losing invisibility soon.'

Alex turned around and started heading outside. Today wasn't over yet, but he already had so many events, and it wasn't ending!

The same way he entered the building, he sneakily left it. He was feeling weary after using magic for a quite long period.

Walking out to the road and letting out a sigh, he couldn't find even time to clear his mind as his pocket started ringing.

Ding Ding~

"Huh?"

It was his phone that started vibrating to let him know of the upcoming of new messages...
