Bab 50: Death
I sighed in relief and turned around to the bookshelf, "I must be fast."
I approached the books and began to read the text on them.
"Let me help you a bit", the bird told me and then flew close to the books. "Among these books, there is a book named Heart of Crystals. Find that book, it will guide you."
" Thanks for telling me that but it would be great if you had told me about how to solve these puzzles", I told it and continued solving the puzzle.
"Humph... Ungrateful. You should be thankful that I told you the name. Now I won't help you anymore", it flew to the table near the bookshelf.
I think I had angered it.
I scratched my head in confusion, "What is this? I can't understand it at all?"
I touched one of the books and began to focus on it. There was a mixture of scripts written there. It was like, 1325 Huã For Xiūxi.
"Wait a second...", an idea clicked in my mind.
"If we take the name in English then 1 is for A, 3 for C, 2 for B, and 5 for E. Then it becomes ACBE but it is not a word... Ugh..."

Mia was laying inside a cave in the deep forest. A man in a black cloak was guarding the cave.
Mia's eyes were closed. After a while, she slightly moved her head, "cough... ugh..."
The man went to her and grabbed her hand, "Mia, are you alright?"
There was no response and after a while, she slowly opened her eyes, "Cough..."
The man moves his hand and a bottle of water appears. He helps Mia to sit and then gave her water. She drinks the water and then looked at him.
"Master...", she smiled.
The man grabbed her wrist, "You should listen to others."
The man spoke in a cold manner, "It is quite strange that the core didn't kill you for overusing the power."
The man got up from the ground and then walked to the entrance of the cave. He looked up at the night sky.
"Master, it would be great if I had died", Mia spoke in a sad tone.
The man tightened his fist, "Why? Why are you doing this? Saving others and killing yourself."
She looked at him, "Master, you once told me to live for justice and peace. When my parents despised I wanted to die but you came and told me to live in order to bring peace."
He nods, "I remember. I did tell you that but how can your death bring peace and justice."
Mia sighed, "It can. My death can bring peace. My death can secure the life of those who I care about. My death can bring peace to their lives. If I die the core will disappear along with me and so will the evil spirits. Also the other half."
The man punches a nearby tree in anger, "What do you mean by that? Have you ever imagined what would happen to those who care about you? To whom you are the most precious?"
He sighed and then turned around to face Mia, "You can fight the spirits. There is always another way to do the things that you want to do the hardest way. Instead of killing yourself eliminate them."
Mia slowly got up from the ground. She came to the entrance and then looked at the sky, "I know that I should fight but do you think it will be successful? Though I am the most powerful I can't use my power just because it is kind of locked up. You saw yourself what happens when I try to unlock them. The spirits are undefeatable. Only if my power unlocks then I can defeat them."
She looked at her hands, "But that is not possible now."
The man held her by her shoulders, "Mia, you have the key to unlock the powers."
Mia looked at him, "Where?"
"The key is always by your side. It is Lin. He can unlock your powers. His golden blood can overpower the evil powers. Keeping him beside you during fights can weaken the evil."
Mia frees herself from his grip and moves away, "So you want me to kill him?"
The man grunts in anger, "When did I told you to kill him? Using a little of his blood won't kill him. He owns you his life after all."
Mia looked at him in surprise, "What do you mean?"
The man tilted his head, "You gave him the Pearl. If you had never given him the Pearl then you won't be this weak. At least it was keeping you safe from the backfire."
"Enough...", Mia screams in anger."Never mention the thing about pearl again. I would forget that you are my Master."
Tears were flowing out of her eyes. All of a sudden she began to look around.
The man comes closer to her, "Mia, what happened?"
"Ahhh....", she grabs her chest.
She began to moan in pain, "Something is wrong."
She was about to fall the man grabs her, "Mia, answer me... what happened? What's wrong?"
Her eyes were slightly open and she was moaning in pain, "The... e... ev... il.... sss.... spiri.... t... s..."
She closes her eyes.

Lin's POV
Books are a big headache. I had read them and thought about them a hundred times but it is still confusing.
All of a sudden everything in the room began to move. I got up from the ground and looked around. It was as if an earthquake had occurred.
"Her Highness... she is in danger. The lantern's flame is unsteady", the spirit bird screamed.
When I look at the lantern hanging in the mid of the room, it was moving and the flame would appear and disappear.
"Mia...", nothing can happen to her.
I rushed to the door but it was not opening. I used all my force and magic but it did not work.
"Once you try to read the magical books then you cannot get out unless you read the book you came for", the spirit bird told me.
