Bab 48: Real Mate
I stared at her in surprise, "Then do you mean I am the real one?"
There was a sad expression on her face, "Hmmm, you are the one. Because of me, the situation had become worse and now I don't want to repeat the same mistake. Yes, it is you, Mia's true mate and the one who will aid her to end her curse."
Happiness rushed inside me at her words. When I looked at mom something was bothering me. She smiled at me but there was sadness in her smile.
I grabbed her hands, "Mom, why do I feel that you are sad at the fact of me being her mate?"
She looked at me with fear in her eyes that I could not understand, "I am not sad because you are her mate. I am just regretting the decision that I made."
"Mom, what decision?", I asked her confused.
"Lin, If I hadn't hidden your mark years ago then the situation would be much better. Just because of that selfish decision of mine not only you but little Mia is suffering a lot. Even though I am guiding her but still I can't help her to live happily", tears fell down her eyes.
She then continued, "Lin, I am not sure but Mia might die in the end."
I was motionless for a while and then gathered up the courage to talk, "Mom but Mia... I can't let her die. You know what when you left me she had been the only one who made me live again or else I would be dead by the conspiracies of the Yang family. I was like a soulless body. She became the light to my dark life. That little girl who would easily get hurt gave me new hope to live. Mom, I would never let anything happen to her. As for you please stop blaming yourself. All of this was destined to happen."
Mom smiled and tightened her grip on my hands, "Surely, she made my little boy grow up into a responsible man. Lin, then you should better hurry and go back to save her. This stone in which we are is with her right now and I can sense danger coming from outside. She might be in danger."
I looked around, "Mom if this stone is with her then there must be a way through which I could directly go to the place where she is."
Mom looked at the sky, "I am sorry in that case because your soul is inside the stone while your body is somewhere else. Even if I help you get out then it will be just your soul. Your soul would be unable to use power outside then it would be hopeless."
Mia... I should hurry up or I might lose her forever, "Mom, I think then I should be going but could you tell me about Liam?"
She put her hand on my shoulder, "Son if I tell you everything then what will you do? Anyways, I don't know much about him but there is one thing for sure you both are fated to be rivals."
"Rivals ... One thing I know is that I hate him. I can't say the reason confirmed but his sight angers me", I told her.
She smiled softly, "There is more than that. Let me help you a bit more. You and Mia both care about each other and most probably like each. As for Liam and Mia, Liam likes her a lot and also cares for her. Mia also cares for him and likes him. So, the situation here becomes more complicated. Even if Liam is the one who will cause destruction, he won't want to harm Mia but you might be his target. But if the situation turns you into the evil one then the same would go for you."
I was a bit shocked by her words, "Mom, what do you mean that I can turn into evil?"
She kept a soft smile on her face and replied, "I mean that it is still not confirmed which of you will be bringing destruction. When I saw the mark on you at that time Liam's presence as the mate was not known and you were the only one but now he is also there. Keep one thing in mind if you could turn evil into good then good can also be turned into evil. So, be careful and not let your emotions turn you into evil."
There was another flash of light and I was back in my room.
I looked around myself and felt a bit sad, "Mom... I wish I could see you once more..."
Mia... I should find out about her first.
"Master...", I heard a voice but there was no one.
"Huh... something is wrong with my ears", I rubbed my head and got up front the bed.
"Master, can you hear me?", again this voice.
Where is it coming from? I looked around but found no one. I used my magic to see if someone was hiding but failed.
"Master... answer me...", again this voice.
"Huh... wait a second, this voice seems familiar", I began to think who it was and then I realized.
"Feng, is that you? Only you would call me master", there was no reply.
After a few seconds, a telepath clone of Feng appeared that scared me.
"You should notify before appearing like ghosts", I shouted at him.
His face looked seriously worried, "I apologize Master but there is something urgent. Her Highness, she is in danger please go and save her from those spirits."
"Spirits... Don't tell me she really went to fight alone", I asked him.
He looked down and nodded.
"I won't let anything happen to Her Highness but first I had to come to the island to find her location", I told him.
He looked at me, "Master no one can enter the island. Before Her Highness left she sealed the island and left me for guarding the island. If I could leave the island I would have long gone to her rescue. Master I only trust you that's why I told you to help her but please no one else should know about this or Her Highness's hard work would be in vain."
"Seal the island... No need to worry I will find a way to enter the island so that I can find her location. As for the information, I won't let others know about it...ugh...", there was a sharp pain in my chest.

Mia's head got hit by a rock and blood was coming out of it...
