Bab 7: Punishment

Hao appeared, his voice cold, "Let them face the consequences, Mia. They deserve it. And by the way, I've already brought your siblings home."

Mia, suspicious, questioned him, "Did you reveal everything to them?" pointing towards the leaders.

"Of course, I did. Those wolves dared to harm you, but I intervened in time. I sensed the old wolf's evil intentions and rushed to protect you. Though you had already passed out, the Magical Tree helped you recover. But there might still be traces of the toxin in your body," Hao explained, hoping for praise but received a swift hit on the head from Mia.

"Ouch... why did you hit your savior? You are such an ungrateful... humph..." Hao seethed with anger.

"You are becoming increasingly disobedient. I never asked for your interference. Have you even considered the consequences of endangering me and my siblings? What's the point of your magic and powers if you run to others for help? You're growing lazy day by day. I'm sending you for Magical meditation," she scolded Hao, her voice laced with frustration.

Hao remained silent, absorbing her words. Mia turned her attention to the leaders, her tone unwavering, "You all may leave. I will handle this matter myself."

The leaders dared not object, their expressions tense, and they promptly nodded before making their exit. Now, only Mia, Hao, and the Yang family remained.

Mia fixed her gaze on them, her voice firm, "Elder Master Yang, Young Master Yang, Lady Yang, Madam Yang, Old Master Yang, and Youngest Master Yang."

She addressed each of them while walking purposefully from one to another. With a swift motion, she teleported them all to the Residence of Magical Island. They materialized in a grand room, once a banquet hall, now known as the Grand Hall, its opulence undiminished despite the removal of the word 'banquet'.

In the eastern expanse of the hall, a resplendent throne commanded attention, its ornate design echoing the ruler's unwavering power and authority. This symbolic seat of leadership was meticulously placed in the East, a profound testament to the profound reverence the Ancient People held for their ruler. Their ruler, a stalwart protector, had consistently shielded them selflessly, and the throne's strategic placement served as a profound tribute to this unwavering devotion.

The throne, facing the sunrise, carried deeper significance, portraying the ruler as a glorious beacon. Much like the rising sun ushering in a new day, the ruler illuminated the lives of their people, pulling them out of the shadows with the gentle glow of enlightenment. This positioning accentuated the ruler's role as a guiding light, a reassuring presence promising hope and dispelling darkness with each dawn, making the throne not just a seat, but a symbol of hope, resilience, and great leadership.

Flanking the throne on either side were the seats of the Leaders, akin to the rays emanating from the rising sun, representing the supportive forces that amplified the ruler's brilliance. The rest of the hall was elegantly sparse, adorned only with carefully placed flower pots. The architecture of the hall had remained untouched since its inception, retaining a captivating ancient aura that spoke of its rich history.

This hallowed space was the venue for the ruler's wedding ceremonies, a tradition upheld with reverence and solemnity through generations.

Seated regally on the throne, Mia observed as the rest knelt before her.

"Your Highness, it is all my fault. Please punish me," pleaded Elder Master Yang, his voice filled with regret.

"Your Highness, despite your immense power, you lead a life burdened with the challenges of an ordinary human. It must be incredibly difficult for you to manage a corporation at such a young age. We stood by you when the board members opposed your presidency. Can you find it in your heart to release us? We are willing to surrender all our wealth in gratitude," Madam Yang implored, tears streaming down her face.

In the midst of their pleas, Old Master Yang's patience wore thin, and he directed his anger towards Madam Yang, his eyes narrowing with displeasure. "Your Highness, forgive my wife's words. She speaks out of desperation," he said, his voice laced with frustration.

Madam Yang turned to him, her eyes firm. "If you don't want to live, then perish here. I'm not ready to die yet."

His anger flared even more. Master Yang scolded both of them sharply, "Stop this at once! Can't you see how disrespectful both of you are to Her Highness?"

"Your Highness, please forgive them for their thoughtlessness," Elder Master Yang implored, trying to mend the situation.

"Forgive me, Your Highness. But the offer still stands," Madam Yang spoke up again, her desperation evident in her voice.

Seeing the elder and old master's rising anger, Mia raised her hand. "Enough," she commanded.

They all fell silent, heeding her command.

Mia stood up from her throne, her presence commanding attention as she walked purposefully towards them, her expression unwavering.

She continued walking around the entire hall, her voice filled with a mix of disdain and disappointment. "Hmm... Madam Yang, your desire to negotiate with wealth is quite clever, but your presence, much like the Dark Beasts, gives me a headache. If I were power-hungry, I could have easily eliminated all those who opposed my presidency, including you, without a second thought. It's amusing how you claim you helped me. Let me remind you, it was Young Master Yang who supported me. I recall how you withdrew your support when he tried to help against your wishes. You were jealous of a twelve-year-old whose design surpassed yours, and you wanted to compete with her. Fate has a beautiful way of turning the tables. The person you once wished harm upon, you now beg for your life."

Pausing for a moment, Mia's eyes narrowed with accusation. "And you, Elder Master Yang, you're not innocent either. You poisoned me with the cold toxin. I later discovered that you were unaware of my true identity, and your actions were based on the misinformation you believed. I spared you from the Leaders because of it. I suspect you've harmed many other girls as well. Do you not understand the consequences of harming another species? In my eyes, none of you deserve to live."Mia stopped near them and raised her hand in the air. A gleaming silver sword with a handle carved from blue-green jade materialized in her grip, its presence radiating power and authority.
