Bab 153: Stubborn

Asher really did not feel guilty.

"Why did you just completely abandon me?!"

Asher then questioned the duke again, his gaze still not so friendly yet not completely hostile either. He wanted to ask this question really bad. 

While he was sleepless and restless, then sitting by the duke's door crying and begging the duke to show himself, he always asked this question himself as he thought if the duke really thought him to be such an unloyal person who would not care for his lover if he were to get into such a situation. He honestly wanted to know a reason as to why the duke felt the need to make him so miserable like that.

"I am sorry."

Felix felt ashamed. He didn't have a certain reason but he felt he failed everyone around him. Maybe he got a little no…very selfish by isolating himself, even when he knew they were worried and was calling him and begging him to show up…
