Bab 97: A Sudden Dangerous Situation

"What do you want?" Wayne looked at Noah and asked. 

Noah quickly stood up and said with a polite smile, "Hello, Mr. Smith. I saw that you guys had not paid the bill yet, so I wanted to pay for your meal as a treat." 

When Wayne heard this, he shook his head helplessly and said, "What do you seek from this? I've already said I don't intend to take in any more apprentices. I don't have the time to teach others right now." 

Upon hearing this, Noah waved his hand and said, "No, Mr. Smith, you've misunderstood. The reason I'm paying for your meal is not because I want you to take me in as your apprentice or to please you. It's just that I really admire you, and I feel that it's an honor to be able to pay for your meal." After a short pause, Noah continued, "Of course, if I can become your lackey, I will feel very honored." 

Wayne frowned in confusion when he heard that. "A lackey?" 

Noah nodded seriously and said, "Wayne, I want you to be my boss!"
