This conversation plunged the room into utter silence. Liam Yancey's face darkened without uttering a word, his heart constricting rhythmically.

As he lowered his gaze, his trembling lashes betrayed his fluctuating emotions.

He ruthlessly snuffed out the cigarette in his hand, without uttering a word, he suddenly stood up and walked out.
