"Tara…" He walked to the bedside, directly picked her up, and let her lean into his arms.

Tara Summer half-opened her eyes, her brows furrowing, feeling sore all over, she slumped against his chest, too lazy to even move a finger.

"I don't want to eat, I want to sleep!" She muttered a sentence, already closing eyes before her voice faded.

Liam Yancey chuckled, knowing that she was exhausted, he brought the cup of milk to her lips, "Take a sip, good girl."

Although Tara had her eyes closed, she was very clear-minded. She knew she wouldn't be able to get any rest without drinking, so she mechanically opened her mouth.

After one sip, she tasted it and realized she was hungry, so she continued to drink, quickly emptying the cup of milk.

Liam Yancey hooked up the corner of his mouth, put her back onto the bed, then turned around and left the bedroom...

Tara Summer slept soundly, completely unaware of Liam Yancey's movements, she had no idea when he returned after leaving.
