Tara Summer was slightly startled and looked at her father-in-law beside her - her own father now. She was moved by his unexpected advice and gratitude flickered across her face.

"It's the truth, there's no need for gratitude, and don't overthink it." Blake Yancey chuckled. Tara was innocent - she often wore her emotions on her face, letting others read her thoughts. However, she could be quite shrewd at times.

She was clever, quick-witted, but too much of an innocent. She found it difficult to hide her feelings. But it was this version of her that reflected her truest self!

Tara lowered her gaze, a little embarrassed. Was she that obviously transparent? Could everyone truly guess what she was thinking?

"You both have had a difficult half month," Old Master Yancey said while she was lost in thought, "When your mother-in-law ascends to the throne and the funeral is over, you and Master Liam can return to Night City. Remember, rest well once you're back..."
