It was a feeling like no other she had ever experienced. Even during her previous moments with George, none compared to this; it was an indescribable and inexplicable sensation.

Liam Yancey lowered his head, his dark eyes fixated on Tara's delicate face. She was beautifully pale and pure, pristine and untarnished.

"Why?" He growled, his handsome face lowering down to hers. His lips were on the verge of kissing her but suddenly he paused, a torrid breath playing on her lips, "Are you considering infidelity?"

The purposely emphasized last words left Tara stunned. Her anger swiftly surged: "What do you mean? Who's adulterous?!"

Enraged, she glared at him, her eyes crystal clear, her countenance grave.

"Who sent the flowers?" He applied a slight pressure on her wrist, leaving her breathless.

"Flowers..." Suddenly it dawned on her. Her face fell, as she realized just how far-reaching his surveillance was. He'd gotten word about the morning's happenings by the afternoon!
