Bab 7: Chapter 7 - Yuusuke vs Fugaku
After Yusuke finished putting the hand seals, his flames changed qualitatively, becoming crimson in color. Due to having a fire-type Zanpakutō, Yusuke learned that he was able to enhance any fire-element technique. Therefore, now, thanks to the power of Ryujin Jakki, his flames became much stronger than ordinary flames, and in the blink of an eye, Fugaku's fireball was consumed like himself.
"Father!" - Itachi, who was watching the battle from the side, exclaimed in fright. But he soon calmed down when he saw how Fugaku, engulfed in flames, turned into a wooden block, which then turned into ashes. Fugaku had to use a body replacement technique to avoid being consumed by the crimson flames.
At the same time, Yusuke quickly stopped sustaining the fireball with chakra and assumed a defensive stance, just in time to block the furious kick. The force of the blow was strong enough to force the young man to take a few steps back.
Gaining an advantage, Fugaku took advantage of the situation and launched a series of attacks. None of them used ninjutsu or weapons anymore, just pure taijutsu. Both were fast, each movement was polished and fast, showing high fitness and considerable experience.
It is worth noting that when a shinobi reaches a high level, his physical characteristics and taijutsu skills must be at the appropriate level. In combat, this allows them to see fast-moving objects, and when the Sharingan's third tomoe awakens, they gain the ability to predict many of an opponent's moves: they can anticipate an opponent's next move based on the slightest muscle tension, and move accordingly to dodge or intercept an attack. But, although the owner of the Sharingan can see all these things, he usually also needs good physical abilities in order to respond in time to the received visual information. Therefore, everyone in the Uchiha clan takes physical fitness very seriously.
For some time, Yuusuke and Fugaku fought, testing each other's physical skills. During the exchange of blows, the young man noticed that the face of the head of the clan no longer looked as angry as at the beginning. Unfortunately, under constant attack, he didn't have time to think about it.
Suddenly, Fugaku changed his position and jumped up, and then landed a strong overhead kick on Yuusuke. While Yusuke raised his hand to block, Fugaku interrupted his attack and used his hand as a springboard, pushing off and jumping even higher. Then, as soon as he reached the required height, Fugaku began to quickly fold his hand seals.
"Fire Release - Phoenix Sage Scarlet Claw Phoenix Flower" - Fugaku's mouth burst out with a strong stream of flames, at the same time, with his other hand, he threw a dozen shurikens. Shrouded in flames, the shuriken rushed towards Yusuke at high speed.
At the same time, while looking at the approaching shuriken engulfed in flames, Yusuke quickly folded his hand seals, and at the same moment, a thin purple transparent flame barrier appeared in front of him.

One-sided Purple Flame Formation is a ninjutsu developed by Yuusuke based on one of the techniques from the original story. In this case, it is the Four Purple Lights Formation technique used by the Sound Four during the invasion of Konoha. The reason why Yusuke is able to use her modified version on his own is naturally due to the existence of Ryujin Jakki. Without the help of this powerful spirit, the young man would never have been able to unleash such a powerful flame.
Fugaku marveled at the power of the purple barrier's flames, he didn't expect the youth's flames to be strong enough to incinerate his shuriken into nothingness. And realizing that the barrier would be impossible to break through, the head of the clan decided to bypass it and attack the young man from the other side.
Using a body flicker technique, Fugaku appeared at the side of Yusuke and took a kunai in his hand and pierced his opponent's chest with it. But in the next moment, the man raised his eyebrows in surprise, discovering that the weapon had passed through the body of the young man. Yusuke's body at this moment burst into a crimson fire and disintegrated into many ghostly fire crows, which immediately pounced on the enemy without wasting time.
Fugaku reacted quickly enough, stepping back, swinging his kunai towards the nearest crow. However, just like with the youth's body, the weapon went through the fire raven's body without having time to pull back his hand, the man's wide sleeves were quickly engulfed in flames.
Swinging his kunai, Fugaku cut off the flaming sleeves. At the same time, as an experienced shinobi, Fugaku noticed that the crows were not ordinary clones, but clones with a combination of illusion and fire-element chakra.
"Good technique, young man!" Fugaku exclaimed admiringly, breaking the distance with the fire crows. Right after that, he quickly closed the hand seals and released the power of the Sharingan, the three tomoe in his pupils spinning rapidly.
"Demonic Illusion - Stabbing Technique" Dozens of spikes suddenly appeared, each of which pinned one fire crow to the ground. Gradually, all the crows disappeared, revealing Yuusuke's true body, pinned to the ground by several stakes.
"Incredible, using an illusion to defeat an illusion!" Yuusuke's voice was full of sincere admiration. The technique, which he considered almost insurmountable, was destroyed so easily.
Demonic Illusion: The Stabbing Imprisonment Technique that Yuusuke was afflicted with was only an illusion, the stakes that pierced the youth's body didn't really exist. Only Fugaku Uchiha and Yusuke could see it, Itachi standing aside could only see Yusuke frozen in place.
"Now I understand why these guys are so jealous of you. You are definitely Yusuke's rare talent, to think I was forced to use the power of the Sharingan to stop you." Uchiha Fugaku's expression was no longer as stern as at the start of the meeting. Now he looked at the teenager in front of him with admiration and respect.
As for their little duel, Fugaku Uchiha thinks he won it without a doubt. Whether Yuusuke uses his sword or not, he was already in complete control of the situation. Until he cancels the illusion, the young man will never break out of it on his own. Besides, even if Yusuke could somehow escape from the illusion, he still had a very strong trump card hidden away, which he did not really want to use in such a duel.
"By the way, I never cared about your little conflict in the tea house. I invited you only to test your strength. To be honest, I had already highly appreciated your strength, but now I understand that I still greatly underestimated you," Fugaku said, deciding to clarify his original position in that conflict.
Looking at Uchiha Fugaku, Yuusuke also understood the thoughts of the other side. The man is definitely confident of his victory in this little duel. Well, there is some truth in this.
Seeing how the youth continued to remain silent, the clan leader frowned slightly: "Yusuke don't be upset because of one defeat, victory and defeat is a common thing for shinobi, besides, your opponent was the head of the Uchiha clan!"
"Excuse me, Fugaku-sama, but I would like to know if our duel is already over?" Yuusuke asked with a smile.

Before Yusuke could finish speaking, Fugaku Uchiha saw a flash of fire in his eyes, the powerful fire attribute chakra in the youth's body went berserk in an instant, releasing him from the illusion's captivity. But most of all, Fugaku's attention was focused on the magnificent katana shrouded in crimson flames, which, like the current of a river, flows along the blade of the katana.
Yuusuke swung his katana, and the flames flowing along the blade of the katana drew a magnificent arc in the air. Seeing this, Fugaku was shocked and couldn't help but sigh, the youth in front of him definitely deserved his title. Then the head of the clan marked his sharingan and, out of habit, tried to put his hands into the wide sleeves of the kimono, when he suddenly remembered that he had cut them off during the duel. Remembering this, Fugaku sighed again with a bitter smile.
"Given that you managed to damage my kimono and I had to use the power of the sharingan, it can be said that I am the loser in this duel," Fugaku said with a slight smile on his face.
The youth swung the katana once more and canceled the Shikai, putting the katana into the spiritual sea. Fugaku was not surprised at the disappearance of the katana, shinobi had many seals capable of storing things in another space.
Yusuke carefully looked at Fugaku and thought. From the beginning, Yusuke didn't know what type of shinobi the man in front of him was, but now that they fought, he could assume that Fugaku was the best at illusion techniques.

Without the power of Ryujin Jakki, Yuusuke would have to spend much more time if he wanted to break out of this illusion.
"Fugaku-sama, you must be joking, I used everything I have and I'm not so arrogant as to think about defeating the clan head!" - Yusuke did not belittle himself out of politeness, but spoke the pure truth. He was aware that Fugaku Uchiha was a powerful ninja who also awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan. If they fought to the death, Yuusuke wouldn't be able to survive this battle, at least not with the little power he currently has.
Uchiha Fugaku was pleased with Yusuke's words: "Come on, this is not the place to talk, let's continue our conversation inside," he said, inviting him into the house. He was completely pleased with this young man from his clan. Starting with talent, strength and mentality, he had everything a strong shinobi needed.
