Heads swiveled towards the voice which was owned by a man. Alexandra didn't know if she should be relieved or alarmed by the man's appearance. Green eyes, extremely pale skin, and short brown hair coupled with a long weird coat and shoes. He looks oddly identical to Dominic but older and bigger, and Dominic had long silver-blonde hair and his eyes weren't green.
"Dominus!" The girl blurted, the animosity in her eyes that was directed at her was now aimed at the man called 'Dominus' who didn't even bother to glance twice at the girl.
"Filthy catha," The man, Dominus strode as he mumbled. "I had no idea a catha dwells in this Mansion." He proceeded as he shifted his gaze and scanned the room.
"She's the reason why everything came to pass, the reason we all had to mourn... she needs to pay!"
His gaze didn't leave the room as he examined it. "The priests are really slacking." He murmured with a bored tone. When his stare swerved to her, Alexandra rapidly shifted backward and diverted her eyes.
"And who's this little cat?"
Lexi noticed how the girl rolled her eyes at his words. What she didn't comprehend was how the girl lunged after Dominus (or rather flew towards Dominus). Lexi's fingers launch their way to her eyes to cover her face. The girl, however, didn't get the chance to get close to Dominus. Alexandra gaped at how the girl turned Into dust.
The man is IMMORAL! Was the only thought in Lexi's head noticing the turn of events, and Dominus snorted as if reading her thoughts.
She became terrified from just guessing how she would look when she was turned into dust.
"Go."
"Huh?" Her head raised as she glanced at him with a confused expression. His roughed voice sent liquid down her throat.
Dominus reckoned on leaving her memories with her, but seeing how awfully quiet and wobbling she was he decided against it. She was small, not mature enough for such experience. He couldn't leave her side for a second without her being in trouble or attracting danger to herself. So troublesome.
He turned his head to meet her frightened eyes, they held timidness and showed how distant from such a world she was. With his green eyes focusing on her eyes, "Nothing took place, you were hibernating in your bed." He said to which she nodded absent-mindedly and repeated the words after him.
After getting her to her room, he changed back and entered his room. He lay on his bed and rested, his thoughts went back to what happened yesterday when abruptly an anxious Simon appeared.
"What is it?" He asked with his eyes still closed. He could sense the hesitation in Simon.
"The Ginnak has Awaken." Simon lingered. He allowed Dominic to digest the news a little before he continued, "The information came into the temple yesterday, it's supposed to be a secret among the priests but our men found out." Simon was a little confused at Dominic's reaction. Anybody in his position would have jumped up in alarm or anything, but he remained somewhat reserved and unruffled.
"Who possesses it?" He asked after keeping serene for a few seconds. He wasn't surprised because he already found out about it. His powers deteriorated yesterday, something that only happens once in a century. The Ginnak is a soul that possesses a body once every century and is his only nemesis.
"That is what no one knows yet, but I'll try to find more information about it."
Dominic nodded. After living for many centuries he learned the Ginnak wasn't supposed to possess a body, at least not when he was alive.

"Do you know the reason I called you?" King Magnus asked Alexandra who shook her head in response.
"Do you recall the time I asked if you needed a teacher?" Alexandra nodded her head. Although she wasn't listening when he asked the question that time because she was half asleep. "I've found a governess for you." Alexandra didn't know if she should be happy or anything, her former butler was her governor. So she smiled a little.
"But her condition is for you to be taught at her place, she has a traveling phobia." And she nodded again.
After being dismissed she walked straight to Robert's cabin.
"Robert, Mr. Magnus is hiring a governess for me," She said as they walked into the cabin, and as usual Robert was focused on one of his old books.
"Isn't that a good thing?" Robert asked with his eyes still on the book.
"It means I get to spend less time with you," Alexandra whined and the immediate response she got was a scoff.
"You've always spent less time with me, having a governess is nice. It's good to know some basic stuff," Robert replied to which Alexandra rolled her eyes.
"I was already thinking of becoming your apprentice, reading old books and recognizing portions."
"You can't read without having a governess tutoring you, just because you know little doesn't mean it's alright," Robert lectured with a stern voice, but his tone softens after getting a glare from her. "And of course, you can be my apprentice. After each tutoring with your governess, you can come here while I also enlighten you."
A wide smile appeared on Lexi's face. "Thank you very much, Uncle Robert." Robert sighs.
The Next Day...
Alexandra walked towards the carriage prepared for her, a maid had prepared the things she needed which were in Dominic's hand. She was later informed he would have to always escort her each time she travels, which she found annoying and unnecessary considering how scared she is of him every time their eyes meet.
After bidding farewell to Katherine, Robert, and teary Thomas she climbed into the carriage. The look in Thomas's eyes makes her feel like she was being sent to her husband's house which wasn't true and they all knew that. Settled opposite her was Dominic and his bored expression as he looked out of the carriage.
The carriage man whipped the horses and it started trotting.

The door of a carriage opened and running footsteps ensued.
"Coming through..." A soft voice said as she railed against a little crowd, "Pardon..." The voice said again when she crashed into a maid carrying vessels. "Wow.. that looks tasty..." She commented when her eyes met the tasty-looking food an elderly maid was delivering.
The girl ran through the corridor and opened the door of a cabin.
"Robert... Robert, I've found-" Her words curtailed as her body came down with full force when she tripped on the carpet. Slamming hard on the floor.
"Arrghh..."
An elderly man emerged from the other door, "Sooner than later that pretty face of yours will be completely ruined by none other than yourself." His gruff voice only made the girl chuckle.
"It wasn't a bad fall Robert, I've fallen worse than this." The girl stated as she pushed herself off the ground. "Here," She stretches her hand towards Robert, "I've found your last ingredient." Robert obtained the flower from her hand and observed it with his glasses.
"I must say, you did turn out to be a useful apprentice." He turned around and kept the flower in a jar, "How was today's tutoring?" he asked. Even when he already learned the response, he would always ask. An old habit.
"Boring." The girl mumbled. She dragged a chair closer to her and sat on it. Robert opened his mouth to speak but the girl cut him off. "In case you're asking about Dominic, No, he didn't come with me. He left after dropping me off."
"Where did he tell you he was going?"
"Same old, 'Got something to attend to'. I've become more of his protector than he's mine."
"I think he'll come around."
"That's what you've been saying for the past seven years or so, I don't think he has something to attend to, maybe he's got a family outside town or is having an affair. Don't you think so?"
"Your mind is always in the gutter."
"Just weighing the possibilities, it's possible."
"Only on your mind."
The knocking on the door interrupted their conversation. Lady Katherine entered.
"I can't believe you went straight to Robert after returning Lexi, why do you always forget your lunch and bath?" Katherine scolded as she walked into the room.
Alexandra tilted her head to Robert and smirked. "What can I say, the old man never let me be." She replied with a cocky smirk on her lips.
"Sly brat..." Robert mumbled under his breath.
Katherine chuckled. The two of them were more like daughter and father rather than apprentice and Master. She and Thomas were still confused about how their bond strengthened without anyone else noticing.
"Where's Dominic?" She asked Alexandra who was taking a cup of water.
"With his mistress." Alexandra blunted immediately as she sipped.
"Why didn't I know I had a mistress?" A cold voice came from behind them, startling Alexandra who abruptly choked on her water.
