Remi’s POV

“Ava, I don’t know what else to tell you. I let Gray stay because he was drunk and didn’t want to go home. I promise nothing is going on between him and me.” I roll my eyes and lean back in my desk chair, tapping my pen on the wooden desk.

I should’ve known that I couldn’t get through to midday without Ava calling me to ask why Gray Wilder was in our apartment this morning. She was silently freaking out when Gray left the apartment before me to wait downstairs while I collected my work bag and lunch. I just knew the moment I left the apartment she would’ve screamed the apartment down and maybe got a noise complaint or two.
